They bring in specialty produce from eggplants and okra to several Asian greens, Thai basil & hot peppers, lemongrass, dumpling wrappers, fancy bananas, Ube and sweet potato tubers, fancy mushrooms, plus some fresh seafood items and little Filipino sausage links. Also on Friday, bakery goods from several SoCal Filipino bakeries (laminated Ube Hopia buns), packaged egg pie and family sized flan. Always a fun Friday morning while shopping at De Bu.

As a Filipino I almost shed tears of joy after being here. I really miss being close to good Filipino food at home and it's now my third year of college and just finding this place! I loved it so much more than SLO Oriental Market and I believe it was cheaper! Definitely go here and support your tita!
If you can't find the Asian ingredients that you are looking for you'll probably find it here. I went to a couple grocery stores looking for dry wasabi powder and couldn't find it. I could only find the all ready made tube that I don't find appealing. They have so many hard to find Asian ingredients. It's small but it's packed. After cruising the aisles I asked if they had it and the nice employee took me right to it. I was so glad to find this place.
My friend told me about this place and it honestly is amazing! I found all the things I needed to make some of my favorite foods and deserts!

Cute little asian market with super sweet and nice employees/owners. They're very helpful with every questions you may ask them and will kindly get the product for you in the freezer! If you have any asian food needs come check this little family owned store. For such a small store it packs a good selection of snacks and other products! Reasonable priced as well. Will definitely come back to this one than the Santa Maria branch
This market has the most unusual foods plus the usual Asian stuff like seasoned rice vinegar and good prices. Support the local market and pick up some items. Vons will not miss the $20 spent there and you will get a higher quality item. I have not tried the fish but they do have veggies. The people are very nice too. Philip
Love this little store. They get a delivery from Los Angeles every Friday. Fresh veggies and other Asian goodies that make me actually miss living down south. Well, kind of. Makes me miss the plethora of food down there. Whenever I get a craving for flavorful foods from the east I'm excited I can come here to find it. They even take orders and special requests. Place order no later then Wednesday and get it by Friday. Of course all depending on availability.
DeBu is a wonderful gem of a mom and pop Asian Market. Asian because you will find Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese delectables. Sauces, canned goods, noodles, pickled items, pastries, veggies etc. DeBu has been my go to spot for 14 years. I have never been disappointed. Service from momma and others is always nice. If you don't find what you need just place a order at counter and they'll order it for you. Excellent service. DeBu is a beautiful Oriental Pearl in the midst of Pismo Beach.
